This article aims to analyze the effect of excellent services by the frontliner on customer loyalty at the USU Branch of BNI Medan.

The data obtained was then analyzed using a multiple linear regression test with the help of the SPSS version 16 program.

The results showed that several frontliner service factors affected customer loyalty. The three aspects analyzed are the ability, attitude, and appearance of the frontliner, which has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. This means that the better the ability, attitude, and frontliner appearance, the higher the customer's loyalty towards the bank.

On the other hand, several other aspects such as attention, action, and accountability owned by the frontliner show a positive influence, but not significantly on customer loyalty. This shows that although customers pay attention to frontliner actions and accountability, the effect is not as strong as the three previous variables.

Of all the variables studied, the frontliner appearance is the most dominating in influencing customer loyalty. A good appearance not only includes how to dress, but also the attitude and way of interacting with customers who give the impression of professionalism. This is the key to building good relations between banks and customers, which ultimately contribute to their loyalty.
