In addition, sensitive attributes that affect the index and sustainability status, as well as error analysis, were used to ensure the accuracy of the results. The data used in the study consisted of primary and secondary data, involving 90 sheep breeders as respondents.

Results

The results of the study showed that the sheep livestock business in Galang District had a sustainable index value that varied in several dimensions. In the ecological dimension, the sustainable index value reached 56.71, which shows that this business is included in the category of being quite sustainable. Likewise, in the economic dimension with a value of 51.50 and the social dimension with a value of 63.47, both of them are also in the category of being quite ongoing. However, in the technological dimension, the value of the sustainability index is low, which is 38.85, which indicates that this sector is less sustainable.

Overall Sustainability Status

Overall, with a multidimensional index that reached 52.63, the sheep business in Galang District, Deli Serdang was categorized in a fairly sustainable status. This indicates that although there are several aspects that still need to be improved, especially in the technological dimension, this business has a good basis for further development.
