The research method employed was descriptive with the Job Safety Analysis instrument (JSA). A total of 50 pond workers served as the population and research sample.

Tanjung Ibus Village is home to two types of shrimp ponds: tarpaulin ponds and ground ponds. Each type of pond presents different risks, making it essential to conduct a thorough analysis of the potential hazards. This study focuses on the identification of dangers through various stages of work, including preparation, seeding, maintenance, and harvest.

In the preparation stage of tarpaulin ponds that utilize electric dynamos or Dongfeng machines, potential safety hazards emerge in the form of sharp objects such as wood and iron, as well as electrical risks. Meanwhile, the health hazards faced by workers include exposure to dolomite, lime, and toxic materials such as shampoo and dangerous gases (CO, CO2, NO2). The use of electric dynamos or Dongfeng machines increases the risk of electrical shock, while the presence of sharp objects poses a threat to workers' physical safety.
