Data was collected through a questionnaire, and the analysis was carried out using the validity, reliability, and simple linear regression analysis to see the effect of tourism development variables on welfare.

The results showed that the development of coastal area tourism had a positive and significant influence on the welfare of micro business actors. From the t test results, the significance value obtained is 0.00, which shows a very strong effect. The coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.634 indicates that 63.4% of changes in the welfare of micro business actors can be explained by the development of tourism, while 36.6% is influenced by other factors, such as education, training, and government policy.

From this analysis, it is clear that the development of tourism in the coastal area not only provides economic benefits for micro businesses, but also contributes to improving the quality of life of the community as a whole. Therefore, it is essential for stakeholders to continue to invest in the development of sustainable tourism, by paying attention to the welfare of the local community.
