Introduction

PTPN IV (Persero) Langkat Palm Oil (Persero) has been facing challenges in achieving its target of oil palm production over the past few years. From 2006 to 2010, the production target was never achieved, which is a serious concern for the company. This study aims to analyze the effect of costs on the target of oil palm production in Langkat oil palm plantations, focusing on three internal factors that can be controlled: maintenance, premiprian, and security. Fertilization factors, which are important components in maintenance, are no longer carried out since 2006, so they are included as part of the maintenance factor.

The adjusted R Square value of 0.996 or 99.6% shows that these three factors can explain 99.6% of the dependent variable variation.
