Introduction

This study was conducted at the USU library, with a population of 42,117 digital service visitors. Using the Slovin formula, the sample size was narrowed down to 100 individuals. The method applied in this study was descriptive, allowing for a systematic analysis and presentation of facts to facilitate conclusions. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to the samples and literature studies, and analyzed using descriptive tables. Data interpretation was carried out based on the percentage of respondents' answers.

Results

The results of this study showed that most users (63%) had used the USU library website more than four times a month, with a significant proportion (43%) spending about 2-3 hours each search. Interestingly, 62% of respondents knew about the website through friends' recommendations. In terms of the purpose of use, the majority of respondents (85%) used the USU library website to find scientific information, such as e-journals and USU-repository. Respondents also assessed that the accuracy of information available on the website reached 80% and the completeness of the information was 68%, indicating that the site was very relevant for academic community users as a source of scientific information needed for their academic activities.
